Services Terms and Conditions
• During classes we don’t have the time to address “behaviour” problems and often a class isn’t the right environment to address these specific behaviour problems you may be having at home please contact Clair to discuss these issues away from the classes.
• All services provided are as stated on the website/Facebook page.
• Payment for training classes in bulk via Acuity scheduling and Paypal, if you would prefer to book and pay by direct bank transfer or cash please contact Clair via email to arrange booking.
• Services will not commence until a meet and greet is completed for either 1:1 training or a vet referral (Behaviour consultation) is completed.
•Offers - returning client discount can only be claimed for same dog. Refer a friend discounts only apply when both clients book and pay for a course.
Payment and Refunds
• payment is to be made upfront
• invoices should be paid at least 7 days prior to your appointment.
• refund is only possible if you cancel your booking 7 days prior to the first class or if Bristol Dog School cancel the course.
•Missed classes are not eligable for a refend.
• In unforeseen circumstances, we may offer live streaming of classes alongside attendance or only offer live streaming this will only be under the most severe conditions. In this instance, we reserve the right to offer a voucher for rebooking of classes rather than offer any refunds.
• 1:1 consultation and follow-ups may be done over the phone, text, online meeting - streaming or social media platforms such as WhatsApp.
Data Protection
• All data is kept confidential in accordance with the Data Protection Act (1998)
• No sharing or copying of information is allowed without appropriate permission unless on public sharing posts.
• No posting of negative/slandering posts, being a small business owner, this can be detrimental to my livelihood, so I appreciate all concerns to be addressed to myself personally first.
• No copying or use of logo in accordance with copyright law.
• I take photographs and use them on social media, I try to keep faces and children out of the images but sometimes this will be unavoidable, please let me know if you do not wish to have photos taken on used in social media posts.
Animal Welfare
• Welfare of the dogs is top priority, if any concerns with an animal’s welfare where the Animal Welfare Act (2006) is breached then appropriate action will be taken
• It is of utmost importance that student/owner safety is minimised, Any risk to the safety of other dogs/people if there is a problem owners will be spoken to and offered an alternative services (if currently taking classes), however this is in extreme circumstances
- weather conditions, we reserve the right to change booking times and postpone training classes and private sessions at short notice if we deem the weather conditions to be unsafe for your dog. We will endeavor to rebook these as our and your earliest possible convenience. We will contact via the information probided upon booking to advise on this.

Online classes and virtual consultation disclaimer
Use of our online training course and virtual consultations carries with it risks that we cannot entirely eliminate. These include the risk of person injury.
Rules
- When participating you are doing so at your own risk
- You must act responsibly and sensibly at all time
- You must not participate if you are a child who is unaccompanied by and adult or under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
- You must follow any safety warning or instruction given to you by your dog trainer or contained in the course material please ask your trainer if you are unclear.
- We are not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate in the online training course. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your doctor before participating or avoid any activties if you have any current health concerns, injuries or aches and pains.
- Please use a suitble non slip flooring during training
Virtual training sessions will be reccorded and these recordings retained for a minimum of 36 months, as requested by Protectivity insurance.
Disclaimer for personal injury or death (use of equipment)
You are responsible for using equipment in a reasonable condition that meets UK product safety standard and as directed in the training materials provided. You must behave sensibly, use the equipment as intended and follow any safety instruction so as not to hurt or injure yourself, your dog or others.
Disclaimer for loss or damage of property
In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, we are not responsible for any damage, destruction or loss of your property while using our training materials.

In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, we are not responsible for any loss or injury arising from an act or omission by you or your dog, This includes but is not limited to:
- Circumstances where your dog attacks you as the owner, another person or another dog and;
- Veterinary bills for any injury caused to your dog or a third parties dog as a result of using the training course.
- Medical bills for any injury caused to you or a third parties as a result of using the training course.
